Nervous System
As with the respiratory system, the nervous system of a giant panda is much like that of all mammals, including humans. They have a highly developed brain as well as nervous and sensory organs. They have a two part nervous sytem- the Central Nervous System (the brain and spinal cord) and the Peripheral Nervous System (which consists of the Somatic and Autonomic systems). Giant Pandas also have a highly developed sense of smell.
